Continuing care facility to neighbour hospital

The Alberta government announced the site of a new 100-space long-term continuing care facility Tuesday afternoon. The Willow Square site was chosen out of six possible sites in Wood Buffalo, but its selection will require the current residents to move out before the end of September when demolition is scheduled to begin.

    I think those people living on the houses on the same block should be relocated as well. That’s not much space for a 100-beds facility, unless it’s taller that the hospital

    • From what I can gather, the entire Willow Square area will be demolished, the current occupants moved to other Wood Buffalo Housing, and the extended care facility built in its place.
