More buses for Wood Buffalo
The Regional Municipality Of Wood Buffalo debuted the ‘Whoosh”, the new brand for the municipality’s transit program. Bus-only lanes and 8 more buses for Wood Buffalo should help improve the transit system and encourage more to take advantage of them.
Municipality adds bus-only lane
Council voted Tuesday night to install a third bus-only lane along Confederation Way and Thickwood Boulevard on Highway 63. Also approved that night was complimentary transit service for all municipal staff to encourage bus rides to and from work.
